Our April Guest Designers!
Happy April Everyone!
First off… A HUGE “Thanks” to March Guest Designers Rowee Ortile and Karen Aldrin! You did a great job, and we hope to see you here at CY often. We value your input and creativity! Keep up the GREAT work gals!
Guess what? We’re taking a little break from Card Sketch #24 today to make an extra special announcement!
It may be April Fool’s Day, but it’s no joke!
Noella and I are as proud as can be to announce that we have THREE Guest Designers joining the Creatively Yours Team for the month of April. Yes: THREE!!!
Sisters Deanne, Carla and Susan from the “Sisterhood of Scrap” Blog site have graciously accepted the invitation that we extended to become a part of our CY-DT for the coming month. Please join us in welcoming them in the warmest possible way!
You’ll love “the Sisters’ ” friendliness, creativity and enthusiasm. Their scrappin’ styles are very diverse- from doodles to satin bows to clean and classic lines, Deanne, Carla and Susan can do it all— with style! They can sketch, too!
Since we all learn from one another in the scrappin’ world, April will see us privileged to enjoy three times the ideas and exchange three times the smiles.
“The Sisters” are also “Maritimers,” and in the best tradition of Atlantic Canada, it is extra special having them here to share their creative talents with us! (As you know, being from NB and NS, Noella and I are proud Maritimers too!)
Over the next few days, we will share more information about these very special Guest Designers. No rush- we have all month to get to know one another better. Please stay tuned to see what Deanne, Carla and Susan and our fabulous CY-DT will be sharing with us in April. It’s going to be a GREAT month!

It brings me lots of happiness to bring you Sketch #9. Hope you like it and get lots of inspiration from it and from our CY Designers’ interpretations!
By the way, I have been meaning to mention that all the little suggestions I write on my sketches are ONLY that: suggestions! Often they are just little snippets, notes and reminders to myself, useful for when I create a layout from the sketch!
Additionally, though, it’s really great to see how the girls will interpret a sketch with a few things written on it!

Here is the plan:
Noella and I will be choosing a GUEST DESIGNER for April among the Sketch #51 LOs created by our “CY” blog readers!
So please read the rules below, & then do a LO with that sketch! ! Send us the link so that we may visit. YOU just might be the APRIL 2009 “Creatively Yours” Guest Designer! ALL are welcome, regardless of whether you have designed for “CY” before or not, and regardless of your location… Go for it!
International participants are welcomed!
A note to our CY designers:
Any and ALL of the current CY Designers or GDTs who complete a LO for Sketch #51– including those who originally interpreted it for us and do a 2nd layout,– will receive the opportunity to accept an EXTRA “CY” assignment!!!!
This assignment could be a card or LO or… oh… let me tell you…it will be a FUN surprise… So please do a new LO for Sketch #51, post the link in the comments section and have a chance to get increased exposure on the Blog! Simple as that. OK?
