Hi everyone, I have decided to delete the original post that Ali and I have tried to fix..there were just too many errors.. So without further Ado:

Noella and I are pleased and very proud to present to you our four new Guest Design Team Members for the months of February and March 2009:

Now let’s have a look at the “beauties” these ladies created for the CY-GDT member Contest, and learn a little bit more about each of them. Links to their Blogs are also provided! Be sure to check them out: a worthwhile activity if you like ideas galore!!
Without further ado, I introduce to you:

CHING PHILLIPS:

"Love is Forever"
Feb-Mar2009CY Contest Entry: “Love is Forever”

Ching’s Bio:

Hi, I’m Ching Phillips, a stay-at-home-mom, married to a wonderful man for 10 years. I have a 16 year old boy, who loves to attend weightlifting and wrestling at school. We live in the central part of Florida, USA where we enjoy the warm weather. I have been scrapbooking since 2004, when my sister introduced me to it. I became addicted when I started to join challenges in 2008 and won several prizes. I made mini-albums, designed greeting cards and altered projects for my family and friends. I love to make spread layouts with 2 to 4 photos per page. This is my first time as a Guest Designer and I am excited and honored to be a part of Creatively Yours as a Guest Design team member. Thank you for the opportunity!

Ching’s Blog can be found here.

 LINDSAY GANNON:

"Preschool" layout for the CY Feb-Mar 2009 Guest Design Team Contest

Lindsay’s Bio:

I am so excited to be a Guest Designer for Creatively Yours! I am a SAHM and live in Maryland with my husband of six years, my four year old son, and twins – a boy and a girl, who are 18 months old. I started scrapbooking in high school, after I could fill my bedroom with not one more photo collage! I have been scrapping as a serious hobby for about 14 months now. I love having a creative outlet to turn to throughout my day. As a child, I loved reading journal entries my mom wrote about me. I see each LO as a little gift I am tucking away for my children to open someday – something that will help them see themselves through my eyes. My favorite supplies to use are ribbon, baker’s twine, Thickers, tiny alphas, pretty patterned paper, and Hambly screenprints. Here’s a link to my BLOG (still a work in progress).

KAREN ALDRIN:

"Water Playmate"

Feb-Mar 2009 CY Contest Entry: "Water Playmate"

Karen’s Bio:

Hi my name is Karen, I am 45, married with 2 grown up children. I live in England as a SAHM and we are renovating a large Edwardian house.

I have thousands of photos, going back

over a hundred years. My parents recently passed away and I found that a lot of our family history to go with them is lost. To ensure this doesn’t happen for my children, I am retying to catch up on decades of photographs.

I first saw scrapbooking in America. For many years I would go to Archivers and look in awe. Two years ago, I saw a scrapbook with embellishments in a shop, reduced. I bought it and have never looked back. (Particularly to that scrapbook! Ergh!) My style is very eclectic.. I love bright layouts with lots going on.

Everyone is amazed that all of my scrapbook stash is carried in a wheelie tote bag and a box. Check out my layouts on my Flickr site.

 ROWEE ORTILE:

"Mom's Reading Glasses"

Feb-Mar 2009 CY Contest Entry: "Mom's Reading Glasses"

Rowee’s Bio:

Hi, my name is Rowee Ortile from the Philipines. I’m 7 years married with a very loving and supportive husband, named Terence. We are blessed with the prettiest, smartest, sweetest 6-year old gal who lights up our lives in ways we never thought possible. She was the reason I started scrapping, and she is also the reason I continue doing so. My sister Cel introduced me to this hobby. She provides me with the latest materials & scrapbooking mags. For the record, I can finish 5 LOs a day and still crave to do more! LOL! I love to use my dependable trimmers, scissors and Zip-E-Mate (Thanks Abby!) on my creations. My dream is to be published in a magazine. I also enjoy baking, cooking and blog hopping. My family is my inspiration. You can check out my creations here.

CONGRATULATIONS LADIES!
