Card Sketch #7: A Rejuvenation!!
Good Monday Mornin’ Everyone! Noella and I thought it would be fun to rejuvenate Card Sketch #7 with the current CY Design Team in charge of interpretations. Here is the link to the last time the Card Sketch was posted. Several people did interpretations as you can see in the Comments section!
Here’s Card Sketch #7 by our very own Sketch Artist, Noella!
There’s a reason I suggested Sketch #7 as the one to use today. My little boy, Noah, (our baby) turned seven years old a few days ago. So, thinking of Noah’s birthday, I thought it’d be fun to have the DT design from Sketch #7 .
Then, when I searched out and saw the sketch I HAD to laugh!
Coincidence… my little boy’s name is “Noah Adam Scott…” and look at the initials on Sketch #7 that Noella created awhile back for CY!! LOL
“N.A.”
Her initials ,of course, but what a funny coincidence! OK, Enough of my stories… LOL…

[Don’t you just adore that row of colourful little houses? So fun & funky! We have small towns that boast this phenomenon here in the Maritimes! More on that later…]

Beth Price went “all out” for us and created a second card, adding some bling and a friendly, winged birdie to the design!

CY Guest Designer Feature: Carla Robinson!
This morning we’re featuring Carla Robinson, one of the three “sisters” who make the “Sisterhood of Scrap” Blog such a GREAT place to go for inspiration, scrappy tidbits, and design ideas.
Meet Carla~
Carla was kind enough to send me her bio to share with ya’ll.
“Hi everyone! I am Carla, living in a small town in Newfoundland, Canada with my husband and our 4 wonderful children. I homeschool all of my children; they range in age between 11 and 16 years old. DH runs a recording studio from our home. As a family, we love spending time together.
I started scrapbooking in 2004 after being encouraged by my older sister. My style is fairly simple, I think. I like clean lines, but I also like a bit of doodling and the collage-y look. My inspiration comes mainly from online galleries and from magazines. In my free time, I enjoy reading, sewing and baking.”
About Guest Designing at CY, Carla told me “I am super excited to be doing this :)”
